Account Deletion

We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your RenoJira account, you can do so directly from the app or by contacting us. Once your account is deleted, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete from the App

  1. Open the RenoJira app on your device.
  2. Go to Settings (tap the gear icon).
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm your identity when prompted.
  5. Tap Permanently Delete Account to confirm.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Please include the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity.

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your account profile information (name, email, profile picture)
  • All projects, tasks, and associated content you created
  • Photos, files, and documents you uploaded
  • Receipts and expense records
  • Comments and activity history
  • App preferences and settings

Data Retention After Deletion

After account deletion, we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Transaction records: Payment and billing records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations.
  • Legal compliance: Data required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
  • Anonymized data: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for analytics purposes.

All retained data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
  • If you have an active Pro subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account to avoid future charges. You can cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Deleting your account will remove you from all shared projects. Other team members will no longer be able to see your contributions.
