Welcome to RenoJira ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the RenoJira mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our App.

2. About RenoJira

RenoJira is a project management application designed for renovation contractors, providing tools to track job site finances, tasks, and documentation.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• Creating an account is required to use the App.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. App Tiers and Subscriptions

4.1 Tier Options

• Free Tier: Limited to 3 active projects and 5 receipts per project
• Pro Tier: Unlimited projects and receipt uploads, priced at $4.99 per month

4.2 Subscription Management

• Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings
• Refunds will follow Apple's standard App Store refund policy

5. User Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to RenoJira, including receipts, notes, and project files.

5.2 Limited License

By uploading content, you grant RenoJira a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display your content within the App
• Process and analyze content for App functionality
• Create backups for support and service improvements

This license is limited solely to providing and improving the App's services.

5.3 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload content that:

• Violates any law or regulation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Is offensive, harmful, or discriminatory
• Contains malicious code or viruses

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 Information Collection

We collect:

• Name and email address
• Project and company details
• Uploaded images and files

6.2 Compliance with Data Protection Laws

RenoJira complies with:

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
• Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)
• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

6.3 Data Usage

• We use your information to provide and improve the App
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties

7. App Features and Limitations

• Receipt storage and OCR
• Project expense tracking
• Task and file management
• Multi-project support

7.2 Limitations

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

8. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
• You may delete your account at any time

8.2 Effect of Termination

Termination may result in the loss of your content and account data.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Disclaimer

• RenoJira is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from App usage
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid for the App in the last 12 months

10. Modifications to Terms

10.1 Updates

• We may update these Terms periodically
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
