Understanding what you owe a vendor
How the Vendors breakdown tracks what each subcontractor is owed, overpaid, or paid off.
The Summary's Vendors section keeps a balance for each subcontractor on the job:
- What they're expected to be paid for their work.
- What you've already paid them.
- What they fronted for you (costs marked Paid by Subcontractor).
Each vendor shows one of three states:
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| You still owe | You owe this vendor money. |
| Overpaid · owes you | You've paid them more than their balance. |
| Paid off | Settled up. |
Tap a vendor to open their statement. The header shows your total unpaid across all vendors on the job.
